Laura founded Marshall Harmony in 2021 after more than 25 years in recruitment, most of it spent watching the industry treat people as transactions and deciding she would build the opposite. She leads the executive search side of the business personally, and clients call her "the mermaid hunter" for filling the roles nobody else can.
The company is named after her two children's middle names, which tells you where her priorities sit. She is an ambassador for Acorns Children's Hospice, and 2% of every placement Marshall Harmony makes goes to the charity.
Outside work she is a singer, an award-winning amateur producer, a wife and a mum. Ask her what makes a great hire and she will tell you: people are people, not CVs.
