COMMUNITY, PEOPLE & GIVING BACK

Placing People First Starts With Our Own

Recruitment is our business, but people are the point.

From supporting our own team to investing in future talent and giving back to the communities around us, we want the impact of Marshall Harmony to extend beyond the placements we make.

For us, Placing People First has to start at home.

OUR COMMITMENT

More Than Recruitment

The relationships we build through recruitment connect us to businesses, candidates, families, future talent and the wider engineering and manufacturing community.

We believe that creates a responsibility to give something back.

That might mean supporting the care provided by Acorns Children’s Hospice, helping someone develop through an apprenticeship, investing in our team’s learning or giving our time to causes we believe in.

These are not separate from how we run the business. They are part of it.

OUR CHARITY PARTNERSHIP

In Partnership With Acorns Children’s Hospice

Every time Marshall Harmony places someone, 2% of the placement fee goes to Acorns Children’s Hospice.

The commitment is built into the way we do business. It happens on every placement, all year round, rather than being tied to a one-off fundraising campaign.

Clients can also choose to match our contribution, helping each successful appointment create an even greater impact for children and families across the region.

Marshall Harmony Founder and Managing Director Laura Davies is also an Acorns Ambassador, making the partnership a particularly personal part of the business.

“The substance was always there. I make sure people can see it.”

FUTURE TALENT

Creating Opportunities to Learn and Grow

We believe one of the most practical ways to invest in the future is to create opportunities within our own business.

Joe Carey, Digital Media & Production Executive, and Lola Browning, Digital Marketing Apprentice, are both developing their digital marketing expertise through apprenticeships with Aston University, combining structured learning with hands-on experience inside Marshall Harmony.

That learning comes straight back into the business, helping our marketing capability grow alongside the people behind it.

OUR WIDER INDUSTRY COMMUNITY

Staying Connected to the Industries We Recruit For

Giving back also means being an active part of the engineering, manufacturing and business communities around us.

Marshall Harmony works with industry bodies, education partners and professional communities that support skills, diversity, future talent and the continued growth of UK industry.

Our partnerships and affiliations include organisations such as:

Each relationship is different, but the principle is the same: we want to contribute to the industries we recruit for rather than simply recruit from them.

PLACING PEOPLE FIRST

What We Do Outside Recruitment Matters Too

Placing People First is not only about how we treat clients and candidates.

It is about how we support our own people, how we contribute to our industry and how the success of the business can create a positive impact elsewhere.

As Marshall Harmony grows, we want those commitments to grow with it.
