INVESTING IN FUTURE TALENT
Backing People Before Anyone Else Does
Marshall Harmony believes future talent needs more than encouragement.
It needs real opportunities to learn, gain experience and build a career.
That is why we support degree apprenticeships within our own team while also working with education and industry partners across the West Midlands.

LAURA’S WHY
Creating Opportunities That Work in Real Life
Marshall Harmony was built around creating a business that worked for people and their lives.
That same thinking now extends to the team.
Degree apprenticeships allow people to build practical experience, earn while they learn and work towards a recognised qualification at the same time.
The business benefits too, with new ideas and learning coming directly back into Marshall Harmony. Joe’s prototype specifically positions this as part of Laura’s wider people-first philosophy.
“What started off as a lifestyle business has become so much more than that. It has enabled me to give my growing team the same opportunities with their families.”
Laura Davies, Founder and Managing Director
ASTON UNIVERSITY
Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeships
Joe Carey and Lola Browning are developing their digital marketing careers through Aston University’s Level 6 Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship while working within Marshall Harmony.
Work and Study
The programme combines full-time workplace experience with protected study time and university learning.
Earn While Learning
Apprentices earn a salary while working towards their degree.
Supported Development
Learning is supported by university and workplace supervisors so academic development and practical experience work together.
THE APPRENTICES
Two People, One Pathway
Joe Carey
Digital Media & Production Executive
Joe leads much of Marshall Harmony’s photography, video, social media, brand and digital content while developing his skills through the Aston University programme.
He is also involved in producing Industry First.
Lola Browning
Digital Marketing Apprentice
Lola supports digital media coordination, scheduling and marketing activity while developing her skills through the same degree apprenticeship pathway.
FUTURE ENGINEERING TALENT
Supporting the Next Generation Beyond Marshall Harmony
Our investment in future talent also extends into the engineering community.
Through Marshall Harmony’s partnership with University of Wolverhampton Racing, the team supports students building practical engineering experience alongside their studies.
We also help students with areas such as CVs, LinkedIn, employer expectations and how to communicate their technical experience more effectively.

Why Do Businesses Work With Marshall Harmony Exclusively?
For many clients, Marshall Harmony is not one recruitment agency among several. We become their trusted recruitment partner.
Working exclusively gives us the opportunity to understand the business in far greater depth. We learn the culture, team dynamics, previous hires, challenges, future plans and the type of people most likely to succeed within the organisation.
That knowledge becomes more valuable with every appointment.
For employers, exclusive recruitment means a more focused search, stronger representation in the market and greater ownership from the recruiter managing the vacancy.
For candidates, it means speaking with someone who understands the employer well enough to give a clear and honest picture of the role, team and business.
It is one of the reasons so many Marshall Harmony client relationships extend far beyond a single hire.
“They have been our sole recruiter for a number of years and really supported our company growth during some pretty tough staff shortages.”
